Jesse and Abbey are dear friends to my husband and I, so this engagement session is extra sweet to me (and is one of my favorites yet)! We all met up in downtown Atlanta one Friday morning on the coldest day of the year thus far for their session! We chose morning in hopes of beating the "winter storm" that was forecasted to roll in later that day. Which, if you're not from Georgia, this "huge" winter storm turned out to be nothing more than rain for most of us, in typical Georgia fashion....sigh...Regardless, the weather stayed clear for us and provided the most beautiful, moody light for Jesse and Abbey's session. And they handled the freezing cold like champs!
We did the majority of their session in a parking deck in downtown Atlanta; how cool is that?! Then we headed over to Jackson Street bridge for a few quick (and chilly!) photos on the bridge. Our timing worked out perfectly because the rain rolled in juuuuust as we sat down for lunch after the shoot.
These two have been long- distance engaged for over a year now and are so excited to finally be on the home stretch to their wedding in May! I am so honored to be able to capture this sweet season for them as they approach the long-awaited sweetness of marriage :)
